Payment Terms
Payment policy: All payments are final and non-refundable, except resume-tailoring sessions where Scout fails to complete due to a technical error on our end (see §5). Use the free discovery tier to evaluate Scout before paying.
1. Plans and pricing
- Free discovery: Sign up free — Scout Web finds and scores your matched roles across Adzuna and 50+ company career pages, plus The Muse depending on your field. 1 free preview discovery runs, no credit card required. Your first 2 matches come back fully apply-able — live job link, tailored resume and cover letter — as a one-time allowance, not per run. Every other match stays visible with its location, match score and why it matched. Tailoring beyond that starts at ₹299.
- Web tailoring session: ₹299 (Indian Rupees), per session. Scout tailors your resume and writes a cover letter for up to 12 matched roles (highest score first) inside the web app. You apply via the job links. Non-recurring.
- Monthly subscription: ₹599/month. Includes the Claude Code plugin (unlimited, more thorough overnight auto-apply), 2 web preview runs + 2 web tailor runs per cycle, and 25 extension credits per cycle. Layoff support discount: ₹479/month (20% off) for verified laid-off professionals.
- Extension credits — Managed: ₹399 / 50 credits (Indian Rupees). 1 credit = 1 tailored application on any job page via the Chrome extension, using our managed AI key. Credits do not expire. Opt-in auto-reload available.
- Extension — BYOK (Bring Your Own Key): Free. Connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini API key and pay your provider directly. No Scout charge.
- Layoff support discount: 20% off the monthly subscription (₹479/month) for verified laid-off professionals. Upload your layoff letter at agentco.in/layoff. Extension credit bundles are full price (₹399) for everyone.
All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are in INR and charged to your payment method in INR.
2. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited), a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. We do not store your card details, bank account information, or any other payment credentials. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
3. License activation
Upon successful payment, your license key is generated automatically and sent to the email address used at checkout. Your license is personal and non-transferable. Using your license key on multiple devices is permitted as long as it is used by you alone.
4. Credits — non-expiry and auto-reload
Extension credits (₹399 / 50) do not expire. If you enable opt-in auto-reload, Razorpay will automatically charge your saved payment method when your balance falls below a threshold you set. You may disable auto-reload at any time from your Scout account settings.
5. Refund policy
First subscription cycle, first 7 days: if you subscribe to the monthly plan for the first time and it isn't working out — for any reason — email hello@agentco.in within 7 days of that first charge and we will refund it in full. This applies once per customer, to the first cycle of your first subscription only.
Outside that window, sales are final. We do not offer refunds for:
- Renewal charges (a renewal reminder is emailed 3 days before every cycle, and you can cancel or pause any time from Settings → Billing)
- Change of mind after the 7-day window
- Failure to use the product before your subscription renews
- Technical difficulties on your end (device, Claude Code installation, etc.) — though email us first; setup problems are usually fixable
- Job search outcomes
We provide free discovery and free preview runs precisely so you can evaluate Scout before paying. We encourage you to use them. If you experience a billing error on our part (duplicate charge, auto-reload charge after you disabled it, etc.), contact us within 7 days and we will investigate and correct any confirmed error.
Web tailoring sessions (₹299) are non-refundable once the tailoring pipeline has started (i.e., once Scout has begun rewriting your resume). If Scout fails to complete tailoring due to a technical error on our end, we will re-run the session or issue a refund. Extension credits are non-refundable once delivered to your account.
6. Auto-reload billing
If you opt in to auto-reload, Razorpay will charge your saved payment method when your credit balance falls below your chosen threshold. You will receive an email receipt for each auto-reload charge. If an auto-reload charge fails, Razorpay will retry up to 3 times before pausing auto-reload. You may disable auto-reload at any time from your Scout account settings.
7. Price changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect the current billing period. Lifetime licenses were available until June 2026 and have been retired. Existing lifetime license holders retain permanent access at no additional cost. No new lifetime licenses are available for purchase.
8. Gift keys
Gift keys are single-use, non-refundable, and cannot be transferred once claimed. Gift keys provide permanent access equivalent to a retired Lifetime license.
9. Disputes
For payment disputes or billing questions, email hello@agentco.in with your transaction ID. We respond within 3 business days.
